We do monthly wellness and fitness challenges that motivate employees to be active. This can range from a step challenge to most active minutes to posting a photo of trying a new work out on our internal Yammer page. Employees who participant get entered to win a wellness related raffle, which is different each month. For employee appreciation day, we launched our wellness reimbursement program where employees can purchase an item of their choosing to aid in their overall well-being, which our company would reimburse. We do wellness hours where the team gets together to exercise their body or mind. Some examples of wellness hours are a team hike, yoga class, spin class, guided meditation, barre class, mindfulness workshop...to name a few. It's not only beneficial for the individual but for the team as a whole, and always a great time! We have a Wellness Warriors committee who are focused on our core value, well-being. The Wellness Warriors encourage coworkers to participate in company challenges, post motivational sayings each week on Yammer, plan creative wellness hours, and share healthy lifestyle tips.

Our belief system about empowerment and allowing the team to develop their own work habits

The Director of People and Culture conducts video meetings, calls, or in person meetings with each employee to keep lines of communication open on growth plan and resources to help them excel in their position, with the overall goal to determine what helps them work happy. For training and professional development, we do monthly staff meetings which are centered around valuable resources and content that will help each employee become an expert in their role. We work with our management team to be teachers, coaches, and positive motivators/leaders so that they can help each employee on their team get to the next level.
